If I could afford it I would like a GK-3 on my SG-12's bass side. I've been playing MIDI guitar for ages and know about the latency when converting low notes to MIDI, but this is not an issue for me because I'd like to use the MIDI from the Stick's bass side to feed an arpeggiator and then timing is... |

Yeah, I like his intonation with the whammy bar! The music could be a bit more varied though, just my personal taste. |

Not much fretboard tapping there, but man what a great sounding instrument! Like a guitar with two harps added below and above the guitar's note range. Reminds me of Pat Metheny concerts I've seen where Lyle Mays extended the grand piano with a couple of extra zithers. |

When you guys talk about the fourth finger , I guess you mean the pinky? I'd rather see the pinky as the fifth finger because many players use the right hand's thumb now and then for notes on the bass side. So shouldn't the thumb be noted as the first finger ? Since I tightened my strap and got the ... |

Wow, that was awesome! Do you notice that hiis bass sound takes on a quite different character depending on how hard he taps. My guess is that he uses a limiter to make that wide headroom possible within the band context. And isn't there a lot of fuzzy fret buzzing even on those "soft" not... |

Wow, that tune fits the Stick perfectly! I mean, with those complex harmonies that crawls around the simple lead melody. Nice! I suppose also Space Odditity can be done in a nice version on the Stick, widely spread out voicing harmonies... and the crappy sounding aku guitar strumming bridge could be... |

My old mobile phone just got replaced by an iPhone and then I found the Ampltube 3 iRig app in the App Store. Seems great for practicing. But doesn't it require that special input and headphones listening jack gadget from IK Multimedia?

If you have a sound example I'd be curious to hear- No need for sound examples, I'm just asking if someone has tried to put the PASV4 upside down and if it actually matters sound-wise? If I had time at hand I would do the experiment myself. I suspect you are right about the both sides of the pickup... |
