Thanks for you kind wishes all. It was a great night of music, over 500 people in the audience. I had the pleasure of book-ending the event as an accompanist for a fine singer/guitarist in the beginning, and as the main instrument for the closer, John Lennon's Imagine followed by Come Together witha...

I assumed SG12 was for guitar players but it seems that the alto and the sg 12 are similar almost in length and tunings but altos only come in 10 and SG12 come in 12 string. Dear Stickists, As you know there was a terrible weekend of events this past Friday and Saturday in Charlottesville. But our community comes together like no other, and I am deeply honored to be kicking off this concert on Sunday night. It will be my first time performing in duo with a fantastic sin...

I don't own 12 strings (yet) But this came up to mind- once I use high bass 4th and decide to go standard-or vice versa: Should I order new set of strings or jus retune the 12th and I'm ready to go Order it with the Classic tuning, and then tune the high bass string down a whole step when you want ...

watched this one again-real gold and a question : is there a difference regarding strings when moving from classic tuning to high bass 4th in Grand Stick ? or just tuning 12th string higher one step is enough ? High Boaz, As long as you don't already have heavy gauge on there you should be fine, th...

Thanks, everyone for all the kind comments. For anyone who might be interested in learning how to play some of these tunes, four of them are in the Greg Howard Songbook . It would be fun to have a group performance of some of them at a Stick Night sometime. And here's "Guitarresque" live a...

Hi everyone, I can't believe it was 20 years ago that I released my CD Sol . This was the first really serious "band" production I attempted. With a cast of supporting characters that includes, John D'earth, Tim Reynolds, Dawn Thompson and Darrell Rose, no wonder it's held up all these yea...

You didn't say whether the truss needed adjusting. I suspect this is probably the case after sitting for a year... ;)
