Thanks for the well-wishes!

Many full-time musicians forget that part of the job includes, uncomfortably for a relative introvert like me, self-promotion. I'm trying to get better at it; I NEED to, as my livelihood depends on it! I invite anyone who needs drums & percussion for their recordings, be they demo or high qualit...

Hmm...I bought an HP4 for my current band and never thought to use it for Stick practice. I'll have to do that! I bought a Behringer cheapo $25 headphone amp just to have something very small to bring to Free Hands Academy 2 years ago. It's small, and you can play Stick via headphones. But the sound...

Before you make any decisions, go through a dummy check and start at your electrical outlet to make sure there isn't a grounding issue there. (However, if you plug other things into the same outlet and none of them have a buzzing issue, you're pretty safe in assuming it's in the Stick.) Might be tim...

The new owner did a good try to save something that was doomed from the beginning. Much because of Traktor/Arthur and his earlier actions. Too hard to wash away all negative energy from that name. I would not buy that company. Would be easier/better to start from scratch if one wants to establish o...

So many microbreweries in Maine, it's difficult to keep track! We're lucky around here.

Intonation problem might be caused by light gauge strings pressed a bit too hard. Possibly, but Railboards come with medium gauge strings standard - of course, we don't know what Rob had installed on his by SE... I find that if I tune up with a clip-on tuner (like a Snark) my tuning is "pretty...

I don't know that I'd give up on it. If your son is reading StaffTab, have him take a look at this. Maybe it's doable given enough practice; I seem to have made my way through it a bit ... clumsily, but I think it can be done.
