It seems to me that with the Stick raised way up there, the frets 1-4 are almost inaccessible without doing some kind of weird over ...

:D Hmmn, I'm thinking that I have perhaps just not phrased my question very articulately. Maybe this video will help clarify? Thanks for the replies thus far, I take everything you guys seriously, and as such I'll try it all. Repeatedly if I have to. I will resolve this one way or the other, but I t...

You know, even though you don't have a Stick just yet there are some really great tappers out there who play guitar... Stanley Jordan is really, really, really good. Adam Fulara and his fullX trio is awesome, so is Chris Broderick. Heck, Joe Satriani has a cool tapping thing on pretty much every al...

Bach rocks. The perfect influence for the Stick in my opinion... He wrote some of the best basslines and his harmonic concepts influenced millions of musicians in every genre. Wether they liked it or not! hahaha

Bach is golden in my opinion...

Although I don't really use Stafftab, because I can read, I can utilize Stafftab. If that makes any sense... I hate, hate, hate guitar tabulature. It has always kind of hurt my mind... :D The way Greg presented his tunes in the GH Songbook was pretty much perfect, easy as pie for a Stafftab reader a...

Now keep in mind that I'm doing pretty okay at this point, things are trucking along and I've managed to solve most of the stuff that was hanging me up. Every day is a feeling of improvement, and a definite regular step forward every time I practice and play. Not just sight-reading, but improvisatio...
