Something to think about. Make that rack for a single instrument, then "gang" them together to accommodate as many as you need. Yeah. That's a great idea actually. But I'd prefer just a single rack that holds four instruments. I'm trying to decide how I feel about the foam too. Part of me...

The Sticks then lean against the wall. I like the way his bottom is done but I'd like to see that combined with the top of what you picture here. Sure. Could easily be done. Definitely more than one way to skin a cat. Personally I’d be inclined to fabricate little “cups” to hold the heel of the Sti...

That's a good idea. I'm clumsy enough that I'd be concerned about the Stick sliding sideways onto the floor, so that "divot" is important! Some carefully cut "scallops" in the front edge would minimize that possibility. Thinking about this led to this idea - your noodle, a littl...

I pulled this down and spun it in its entirety. Man! First of all it's been quite a long time since I pulled this one out and probably even longer since I ran it from beginning to end uninterrupted. This really is a monumental work and is so much more than a "Stick Record" ! All of the guy...

Ran across this photo today of Michael Hedges back when he was studying both flute and classical guitar at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp. I think this was 1972. UPDATE: So I got a confirmation from Hedges brother Brendan that he was there as a camper in 72 (when this was taken) and as a counselor...

Don't discount what someone might pay who is looking at this through the lense of a "collector". Sounds kind of dumb (yes ... to me as well) but you never know. I was in a band that recorded and sold a one song cassette with a pretty successful rap duo. I've seen those cassettes sell on EB...

That was really great! Great playing but, more importantly, nice music!

Hi again all! Just a bump on this event. We've already had very good signup activity and it's barely March so I'm getting pretty psyched. I'm especially excited that we'll be having Don Schiff here for the first time (it's been a long time coming). Of course, Tom Griesgraber is always a pleasure to ...

Tablature soared in popularity back in the days of Usenet news because it was a very easy way to send people instructions on how to play tunes on guitar using plain text. Usually the recipient already knew how the tune was supposed to sound and things like note durations and such weren't important. ...

You might take a look at Audio Damage Enso plug-in. I purchased it a while back when it was on discount and haven't really had a chance to dig into it. But it's pretty full-featured and I generally like the Audio Damage software. Aaah. Was looking at that this morning actually. It looks interesting...
