| I liked the second song posted in this thread a lot more than the first, but it's not my bag. Not meaning to offend anyone who is enjoying this stuff, just stating my reaction. Not your everyday approach to punk/prog, so my hat is off in that regard. |

| Yay...I finished recording Czardas for the album. I ended up leaving portions of the improv in the song (up to tempo of course, not slow like on this video). So I could not quite reach heartstrings 160 Bpm, but it is nice and clean at 150. Since two hand tapping is really as new to me as the NS is,... |

| By the way, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from getting a black dyed Stick. I'm sure my results would NOT be typical. I practice for hours every day and gig insane hours on the weekends. We're talking 16-32 hours FOUR TIMES a month. |

| Matt any pics of the "worn" stick? I have mucho respect for "toil" that goes into playing, i"d love to see results. I already know they "sound" great Brett One shows the fretboard wear around the 12th fret on the melody side, the other shows the "binding"... |

| I could definitely do with a black dyed Stick! If there was bamboo inside the paint and not side stripes and inlays in competing colors. Paduak looks great to me in natural but I'm unfortunately sceptic to the weight - my bamboo Grand is already heavy enough and that's supposed to be the lightest m... |

| Yeah...the main portion of the fast section is all two hand tapping for melody only. I have it comfy at 150 and so I'm tracking it for the album that way... | Cool stuff, dude. I'm actually working on this piece for solo SG12 as we speak. It's a real bitch and makes for a great melody-hand exercise :lol: . It actually wasn't that difficult on electric guitar; alternate picking provides the "motor" while your fretting hand simply selects the note... |

| I was once the owner of the very first one made, silver XBL #4868. Actually, it's "twin" was a watermelon colored one that was molded at the same time as mine, but mine was the first one set up. I later sold it (bonehead play) to get a Grand. I needed the two extra strings, but in retrospe... |

| I sure hope some of those new colors will be made available for dot inlays. Call me old-fashioned or whatever, but I've always preferred dots over linears. |
