Great to see so many projects and ideas for 2024. Keep us especially informed about your thing with Rodriguo, might be interesting for EU players. Still hoping for a major european meeting at some point in Spain, Netherlands or elsewhere! |

Done! Well, that was both funny and interesting. Even if it was a premiere and a very short experience, I discovered and learned a lot. Here are my first impressions, i maybe add some later : Two days are definitely a very short time, especially if you like to have some spare time, which have always... |

First eye-contact was through french Bass Magazine, featuring an article written by a then stick player, Thierry Bedoucha, and later showing tony Levin with this strange instrument. Had to call Youenn Landreau then to have a discuss about that. Then I managed to buy an ironwood from a guy in my are... |

Sounds good. I'm sure we will have definitely some fun there. And I agree about the two first takes. Without properly recording while at rehearsals (only with phones, just for remembering arrangements for the next rehearsal), the first "takes" were the better (on the next ones, we just foc... |

Good points! I already felt that I should not change my strings just prior to those days, i don't love the excessive brightness of new strings, and moreover, it usually takes a few days to reach a certain stability. Hopefully, after so many gigs and rehearsals this year, my effects rig is gig-approv... |

Congrats on your new purchase, and future journey. I too played bass guitar for approx 8 years, and slowly lost interest a bit in this instrument. When I picked up a Stick (20 years ago more or less), I was quite excited. My excitation faded a bit, as the Stick is quite a difficult instrument, but I... |

Hi fellow stick players, A few weeks ago, I met a young german drummer in my hometown which quickly became a friend and the musician I felt I had one of the quickest and strongest connection with. We decided to book a recording studio to record a few tunes I wrote. I feel excited by this project, an... |

Hello I don't know the seller, but he seems legit. He's located in Paris. He's selling a blue polycarbonate stick from the 80's you can see on this french second hand market website : https://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_musique/2439129419.htm Again i don't know him personally but i would be glad... |
