I would like to add one small point. I have a 10-string that I sent back home for a full retrofit. It came back as a wonderful and very playable instrument. I have experimented with tunings, going from Classic to Baritone and now back to Classic. What I found was that I really want both the high str... |

I'd like to add a note for the DIYers on the forum. I have recently found this site with lots of good circuit designs: http://www.muzique.com/ One of the circuits that I intend to try out is this one which just actively combines inputs to a single output. It looks interesting to me just for those oc... |

First thing I noticed is that it's warm there! I just took my kids to school because it's -8 F (-22 C) outside. Then, of course, I noticed the music. I think I will have that tune in my head all day. You seem very comfortable and effortless in your playing. I hope to look a bit like that some day. I... |

I just switched from Baritone Melody to Classic. I wanted to play some pieces that have a higher range. So far, I'm liking it better. Once I get my 12-string I will have both classic and baritone tunings!

Hi, all. My old AKG K 240 headphones are in serious need of replacement. What's everyones' favorite for Stick? I practice with headphones lots when the kids finally go to sleep. I'm looking at the Sony MDR-7506, how's that as an example? That's the price range, too. I saving the serious money for my... |

Oh, man, now I really want my 12-string. Only a year away. These chords are exactly the things that I keep trying to find on my 10-string. You can only go so far without that extra string. I know there's plenty to learn with 10 strings and I'm working hard to get ready.

looking for more input, Just wanted to keep this thread in people's heads... Thanks! In anticipation of my future 12-string, that might be less than a year away now, I'm going to tune my 10-string back to Standard tuning. I have noticed that I really don't use string 5 of the Baritone tuning and I'... |
