Guitar Pro6 as made by Arobas... Not too expensive, and very powerful. Easy to use, it is a critical component in my practice structure...

Why are covers important? If you only go your supposed original path, you will probably present only what your abilities will allow. In other words you're presenting a limited story. Covers force you to find predetermined vocabulary that maybe you've never experienced. Not an end all but a good way... |

This is a bit off topic, but aimed at the "no covers" players. Learning covers will help you push the envelope.....it forces you to learn phrases, note choices, subdivisions of time, etc, that you would not otherwise try when you are working in the confines of your own imagination. Doing ... |

Yes, for me as well. Focus, consistency, and patience! I find if I try to focus on everything, I get totally blurry, and my head starts swimming. If I narrow my focus, it works better. I am going to make a "study list", and try to follow a pattern of practicing. I think I need more of a r... |
