Yep. Thumbs up. Love the bass tone, and the lead tone. Is that Pat Mastelotto on this track? (One of the many "too loud" drummers you've worked with?) Just teasin'. |

Quite a few people might reply very nicely and in a PC manner; I will simply hit you with truth in six words: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Cheap is always cheap for a reason. "An arm & a leg" is a relative term; when buying a new Stick, you're getting the real thing and the original, made... |

I've only seen the first 2 minutes so far; I'll have to watch the rest later, but right off, I like the volume balance between your voice and the Stick. On the "Basic Free Hands" DVD, your voice is very low compared to a very loud Stick. (That could have something to do with the stereo spr... |

I've been battling a cold all week which has been sapping my energy, and not sleeping through the night for 5 straight days. The night before last, my cold decided to graduate to bronchitis, and a prescription of antibiotics and codiene-laced cough syrup later 8-) , I'm starting to feel a bit better... |

Anyone mention Virgil Donati yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n--nDc_mb1Y Not a fan. I used to work at a drum shop, and we had him in clinic. While his pyrotechnics are pretty amazing, his playing just doesn't reach me. Same with Thomas Lang. Marco Minnemann is somehow different; I don't know wh... |

The best metal drummer on the planet? Ron (Watchtower) Jarzombek's ambidextrous brother, Bobby. A family dynasty of sonic mutilation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYtUYw3t0wA K Boy, I didn't expect to see Bobby Jarzombek mentioned in a Stick forum! He's awesome...haven't heard much of him outside... |

At a whisker under 6'4"/193cm, I have a pretty long torso, and I discovered quickly that letting my Stick (34" scale) settle on my regular belt, even set for greatest height, wasn't giving me enough height. My left arm and shoulder weren't getting comfortable reach for the lowest notes, so... |

I'm also a drummer of 41 years, and I like this correlation. One of Neil Peart's lessons (I think it was on "A Work In Progress"), also talked about letting gravity and natural body motion assist in your drumming technique. I can see how this would directly apply to what Greg has been pre... |
