Wow! How long until we get Mainstage by extension? My setup is currently a 2013 Macbook Pro and I'll likely be looking to replace it in the next year.

Man! I completely forgot about this video that Steve Balogh shot back in 2011 at the Ground Level in Toledo. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember how to play this and I don't even remember the title. I do remember enjoying playing this one quite a bit though.

Certainly an interesting idea. It's likely you'd only be able to get away with it on the lower pitched strings though as the higher strings would be pitched way too high.

For me the SoftStep is just a bit problematic if you're looping. The switches are soft (hence the name ;) ) so if you're doing loops where the timing is real critical, it can be hard to get them just right. I'm sure the instrument is in great condition. Buyer's need to be aware though that those early instruments weren't adjustable and were made for light gauge strings and standard/classic tuning.
