Thanks, guys! Almost done. It's funny what a fresh pair of ears can hear the next day: there was one tiny part after the drums kick in where the bass sounded off, and isolating the bass track by itself was a bit painful. The piano masks a couple of mistakes here and there. I cleaned up one tiny wron...

I guess it doesn't help when you play acid house one set and insane IDM stick playing the next. I would separate the 2 styles but I hate solo artists with multi-names. Well not hate but you know, if its you making all the music then its your one solo act. Wait never mind maybe I will split music pe...

That was exactly the problem I was having just last night with my Railboard while working on recording bass lines for "Chromatic Jack," which I finished and posted the first minute yesterday (and working on the rest). I kept getting a "clanky" sound and a buzz from the lowest bas...

Scott! If you got to jam on this over 60 times, then that sounds like a pretty good workout on the Stick! And knowing how you shred, I'm sure you got a pretty good workout and practice by jamming. And what a compliment! :o I think you're REALLY going to want to jam on this when it's finished. I'm sa...

Going for the black Railboard with all chrome closed gear tuners for a black and silver look MR tuning and medium strings. Does this sound like the best starting point for string gauge? Any comments? Sounds sweet! Emmett and Cambria told me back when I asked that medium gauge were best for the Rail...

Tripendicular! That was some awesome stuff, and very groovy. Just great technical playing--that's what I think of when I think "tapping" on the bass. And Sasquatch lives! But I don't want to take away from your very challenging piece here. This is really tight, man. Thanks for the look and...

Very fascinating video. I personally count my interest in music and the playing and creating of it to be what keeps me (mostly) emotionally healthy, as well. Lots of mental illness in my extended family, and I'm saner than a...church mouse? We don't have a go-to stereotype for someone mentally "...

I've finished piano and all percussion for my new piece, Chromatic Jack. I deliberately wrote the piano parts to be very friendly for a bass line--particularly a very melodic Stick line--to step all over the nice broad chords. I've been working on becoming Worthy enough on Stick to record some smoki...

Oceans,

I couldn't get this to work at work, and now at home, it say's it's a private video. That might be the source of the crickets! I'd love to listen if I could.
