What it means is the edge of the board is masked off and the rest is dyed, creating a dark strip that mimics binding on a guitar. Larry, if this is what jazz sounds like, count me in! I'm not normally a jazzy guy--more blues and rock and classical and metal all smooshed into prog rock done with a folksy, melodic flavor (a nice and narrow category of music to be sure.) But then I like Big Band stuff, too, and then there's Dixie...
