What it means is the edge of the board is masked off and the rest is dyed, creating a dark strip that mimics binding on a guitar. Unfortunately, they no longer do dyes because they tend to fade with age. Thankfully in my case, it was a very tasteful fade and you wouldn't know it wasn't supposed to ... |

That's an extremely pretty Stick, with the shiny gold and the black dots. My compliments to the Chef--those new metal coatings are just awe-popping. I looked through the gallery at the Sticks that have come out of the elves' workshop recently from Stick Enterprises and there are some truly beautiful... |

Larry, if this is what jazz sounds like, count me in! I'm not normally a jazzy guy--more blues and rock and classical and metal all smooshed into prog rock done with a folksy, melodic flavor (a nice and narrow category of music to be sure.) But then I like Big Band stuff, too, and then there's Dixie... |
