The palette of chord voicings I used was limited to only two kinds of major chords, one kind of minor chord and one kind of diminished chord but to develop the music as the songs progress, I would alter them giving Major chords the sharp four or flat five, flat six or some combination for example. I...

Geez and I thought I was holding back. Don't know what you all plug into but when I used to play stick in Arizona I didn't like how the "guitar" chords exist with the same processing as the bass and only the melody strings could have independent processing. In any event I thought most Stic...

My personal feeling is that the best sound produced for bass amps and guitar amps is to put effects in the chain after mic'ing them but I don't need that playing in my room to my wife, dogs and cat. I won't need to buy mics, cables, P.A. speakers etc... I'm also a big fan of keeping my money where i...

I'm looking for an eight string stick for my melody playing and see the bass stick has 8 strings and is in mono... exactly what I want if it's flexible enough to be used without bass strings. Will it work?

Two of my tracks are in the top ten and top 25 for jazz fusion and world fusion respectively on Soundclick. That’s happened before. Here are some representative pieces of what I would like to someday play on the Stick. Later I can get a midi pickup and also do synth with the guitar chords and switch...

Thats not true. All those keyboardists use piano to compose for orchestra. Stick can assist in the same thing. I also use pencil and paper. I'll post some of my work in the relevant discussion shortly.

I'm planning to buy an NS Stick but don't know what I need in the way of pickups. I'm looking for a fusion bass sound on the bass side and a Allan Holdsworthian rhythm guitar sound on the other side. What would serve me best? Thanks I'm not into constantly buying batteries. I used to have a Steingbe...
