I was waiting for you to play that melody with a truly legato open phrasing and you brought it in at the last verse and chorus. So amazing!
That in contrast to the dense stick orientation of the chordal stuff… Truly masterful.

That was a beautiful admission of many of the challenges we all face on this instrument. You’re certainly not alone in going through all of this. My two cents would be, pick a few things you can do on a regular basis, every time you pick up stick. I often say I’ve been playing chromatic scale at 40 ... |
