Maaaaate. I play the B as an open note a lot , tapping lightly with my right hand, with my left hand on the nut to "support" it. I'm a glutton for the bottom end. In this respect I like your DBR tuning down to Bb but that is totally impractical for my melodic needs. I think I'm really look... |

Hey Greg.
Do you think it's possible to make a tuning that is in Baritone range but accommodates the 5th above a root, melody side and one frett up from the B string? Like Classic but lower pitch.
It seems 12 string Grand 7X5 would come close.. |

Thanks chaps. The one thing I really like about Classic and that I think I'm going to get from Deep Bari is the chance to play both the bass and melody side with the left hand . I find the root- 5th and 8ve thing very useful on Classic, 6-5-4 string respectively, like a drone equivalent on the LH cr... |
