Greg, Do you if the wait time is longer or shorter for Alto sticks for new units? Or is there a cache of Alto's hidden somewhere :D ...I've never seen one for sale. Charles Hi Charles, They are included in regular production runs, but they have only been around for a couple of years, so you're not ... |

Mirrored 4ths, bass: EADGCF, melody BEADGC What do I win? Well, you forgot to vote for your 12-string, so that's the equivalent of a hanging chad... and you David, forgot to vote for the modification. I've just enabled multiple voting in case you want to add to your vote... Should i redesign the po... |

Hi everyone, I thought it might be fun to get a sense of what tunings are the most popular these days. You can select up to 6 items, so if you have a modified tuning like the 12-String Classic , high bass 4th, then you can select two items to say that, and if you use two instruments with separate tu... |

My rig is in Flux, but I just booked my first gig of the new year on Feb 16th, so I'll have to make some decisions. About the only thing I'm sure will be in it is this: http://www.stick.com/accessories/stepabout/frontthumb.jpg I can't imaging playing a serious gig without it at this point. |

When the old site crashed, we lost this poll. In the long run, a Stick player will probably buy all three books. If I remember correctly, on the old site Greg's book had more votes. But Steve's book wasn't in print then. (In the interests of fairness, Emmett should choose between Greg and Steve, Gr... |

Hi Manny & Greg, The title of this section is a little ambiguous, can we also use this section for general music discussion that might not be tapping-related at all? We used to have an area on the old forums for that, was reasonably popular as a lot of us have similar music tastes. Cheers, Just... |

Does anyone here have recordings of their first performance? I actually found some. They can be heard here. I hope I've come some ways since then. Hi Peter, My first performance was jamming with two friends who played guitar and sang. It was in a hotel lounge (the Best Western Cavalier Inn in Charl... |

Hi everyone, The Alto has been out and about for a couple of years now, and I just wanted to see what those of you who have them have been up to. There have been some nice recordings featuring the Alto from Toshiaki Kanamaru, Mike Kollwitz and Glenn Poorman. Sean Malone also posted a great blog abou... |
