Hi everyone! My name is Joy and I've finally decided to purchase a Stick after drooling over them for quite some time. I've quoted Dipstick's original post for this thread because it reflects in a lot of ways where I am musically as well. I have some basic knowledge of music and have some degree of...

Thanks everyone for your advice--it is deeply appreciated. I have tried another belt higher on my stomach and that does seem to help. I think though the NS Stick is a better instrument for me to be playing, all things considered. Did you try adjusting the belthook so that the instrument is higher u...

Hi Manny,

The embedding works great, thanks for doing that. I noticed that embedded videos don't show up on the RSS feed (at least not on my reader), so do we just need to include the link as well? (seems like the easiest solution)

Thanks again.

In answer to Lonewolf's question: Yes, the handedness can be reversed, but the strap button needs to be moved to the other side and the belthook changed. The instrument would need to be re-setup (action and intonation). And the pickup would also have to be adjusted. If it's a Stickup, it would have ...

A newbie question : when you plug a device such as the Timefactor in the computer or a tabletop recorder to... record your Stick, and you have at the beginning of the chain a nice preamp (the StepABout for me), which ouput switch is it preferable to put on : line level or guitar level? What will so...

Hi All, Sebastiaan, thanks for the kind words :-) Greg, I wasn't aware that Emmett played on dutch TV... too bad I missed that! I did hear that he made a tour along dutch music stores in the early '80s, and that Jaap van Eik of the Music Maker magazine wrote about the Stick a number of times. So, a...
