Luc, that's awesome! I wish you all the best! Full-time musician-ing can be tough.

You should maybe market your Stick abilities, too! Guitar players love that stuff... So do bass players...

Really nice Glenn! Thanks to everyone who posted, you guys were a big help in today's explorations. Yeah, I might be splitting hairs here, but I really, really, really want those tensions in the chord. I at least want the option of playing them, listening to it, and deciding if I love it or not for ...

Thanks for the replies and suggestions, all under consideration! Yeah, this is a great tune. I have played and recorded a few versions of it... We have some Django fanatics around here (GP AB, Canada) who insist on playing the 'I' as a min/maj7 or a min6 so that they can blow through Hmin, or use me...

Yes, I get that it's "basic". lol But It's not really an answer to my question, dude... Kind of a statement that makes me wonder why I posted the question in the first place... Ahh well, whatever. What I was actually asking is this; WHAT if ANY fingerings for Bmin7b5 and an E7b9 are y'all ...

So, I'm ripping apart "Black orpheus" tonight, and arranging it for the Stick; There is a change that I do all the time on guitar, and I can sort of "fake" with Stick by simplifying it a bit | Amin | Bmin7b5 E7b9 | Amin | Bmin7b5 E7b9 | Now this is fun to play over, cause it's Ha...

K-Rex, JRJ; thanks for checking the tune out! It means a lot to me that people might take the time to listen, and even more that they might comment! (Woo! My drum part even got noticed!)

More to come, guys. Lots more.

I think that the Stick is it's own looper; we can self accompany. Guitar does a lot of things well, but the stick was designed for self accompaniment. Loopers are fun to mess with, just to quickly hear what two parts might sound like for reference while you are working them out. At the end of the da...

Steve A does a pretty cool version of Kashmir; I only heard it over Skype during out lessons, but I know Steve would rather play it himself in real time rather than loop or trigger. Loopers ARE, however fun practice tools, especially if you are working on your improv/soloing over grooves that are ki...
