You're quite right. I've been thinking of building one since I first saw them but never really had the time.... I've tried playing tonight with the foot thing and i felt even more in control and relaxed due to the more vertical position ever. For me it seems the more the better. The dbro holder wil... |

Nice to meet you, Andy! I've not seen you since I joined back last August. Since then, I've learned that Kev C has pretty good taste though, and I've purchased your new album and am listening to track 1, Reunion, as I type this. I am also enjoying your tone and the mellow exploration. I'll get back ... |

6) Price should be below $250, preferably closer to $100 That Steinberg UR44 gives you 4 mic inputs, which is great, but I don't think you'd need or find more than 2 for the price you want to spend, and the UR44 also costs $299 US. I was trying to keep all of that in mind with the Focusrite recomme... |

I've got the Firewire Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 but if I had to upgrade today to a USB, I'd consider this for $199: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 . The 2i2 is $149, http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Scarlet2i2G2 and the 2i4 is $199. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Scarlet2i4G2 http://www.sweetwa... |

Sounds interesting but I'm wondering why I want an outboard effects unit with all the effects available on the computer. Especially considering that I'm currently setting up a rig that takes melody Stick, bass Stick, acoustic guitar, two analog keyboards, and two MIDI keyboard controllers as input ... |

I love Greg's (Stick Enterprises) mean-looking face at the end. Almost as classic as the mean-looking face on the Bouree piece. That's another good technique, Steve A., my "Stick Face," that I've been working on. I just need to remember to keep my mouth closed, and have that thoughtful, p... |

That was very nice, Greg. I love the Bach of course, and that's actually one of the few pieces I've seen played on Stick entirely just using the left hand. It actually looks very doable, for all of the nice finger movement back and forth. You of course make it look easy, but I'm a convert of the 3 f... |

Thanks PaGIANTOh! I really enjoy the technical jargon actually, so long as you know what you are talking about. Based on our mrcharles reply, you do. :D Gotta love the tech jargon! There's a couple of versions of the original Encabulator, but here is The Retro-Proto-Turbo-Encabulator (with pre-famu... |

[...] I use EZ Drummer, the recent upgrade that allows you to search for patterns by tapping one in yourself and getting a list of patterns matching yours for me made me lose interest in the Beat Buddy for recording. But for use outside of the computer, still has my interest. I have talked to Steve... |

Just arrived today, much different from my old NS, plays flawlessly. https://photos.smugmug.com/Music/Music-Related/i-tTdrWCg/0/L/IMG_0148-L.jpg Oh, god, Steve, that Wenge just looks SOOOOOOO awesome! So this one is in straight 4ths tuning? I thought you were gonna put it into guitar tuning? |
