Thanks Guy There really isn't an answer. Just something we struggle with. On a positive note I had one of my best gigs last night. All the tunes were there. My playing was clean and precise. I even played my 2 newest tunes and they went pretty well. So........... it's back to the grind for me. In a ... |

Just sharing this in case it may help somebody else struggling out there. I guess I'm just airing my musical frustrations as a catharsis and maybe a little encouragement (not pity though). As some may know I suffer from extreme learning disabilities. short term memory problems. So learning songs is ... |

So I played a stick/bass gig last night with my giant rig. I had problems somewhere in the chain, bass breaking up. I tend to run both sides of my stick plus 2 midi synths. so I need something with 2 hi z inputs and at least 2 more line inputs. I'm just so sick of some cable coming undone or one of ... |

Ok I need some new stick music. Recommend something for me.
2 rules You can't recommend your own music, and....... No Greg Howard, Bob Culbertson, Emmett Chapman or Steve Adelson (I have all of their stuff).
Tell me why you like it.

Thanks for the responses. I will decide which wood soon. Unless my house sale goes through, then my money will be too tied up. As for why I like heavy gauge. It just feels right to me. Many more difficult 4 fingered lines I find easier on the heavier strings. I like the feel. And I do bend, but not ... |

So I've been good. I practice all the time, compose, record, gig. I concentrate on the music more than the GAS. But, it's been a few years and I am getting the itch for a new stick (sorry, that sounds naughty). So I know I need a Passive 4 Grand, linear markers and Heavy Gauge strings (if there were... |
