If I may add (and who am I to give advice?) Work on the legato a bit more if you can,...on both sides of the Stick. Brett yes we can do better. But I would add that we simply don’t have the population and steep history of some other instruments that are currently out there....piano, guitar etc. We’re a very small pond. Unfortunately, I can never see the Stick entering into the mainstream populous like the aforeme... |

Hey Boaz. I felt the simple dot inlays got lost under the strings as viewed from above in the playing position. I put the tape across to create a faux linear inlay. It helped me.

I would also suggest that if you find yourself really getting back into playing (this thing is super rewarding) you may want to take the plunge and buy a new instrument from Emmett. The tech has really improved over the years, truss rods, adjustable bridges, railboards, etc... The new railboards are... |

That’s how I really learned how to play this thing. (I use the term play loosely).
