4 words for today: high pass gain filter. I dug and I dug at both the Railboard tracks, and the piano track, until I could find the sweet spot at which to cut frequencies--especially the bass ones where I'm as muddy as the gray glaciers. I'm taking Emmett's and Scott's advice on the co-mingling of t... |

Ordered! Sent ya a PM, Gene. I like this reasoning: ... it is nice to have an instrument that stays put so you can run after children gone wild, leave it set up to play instantly, and have zero weight impact. I can set up one of the Sticks in the studio to be always ready to go, and swap out Sticks,... |

Watch the FHF and find out! I hear you, Sage, and plan to watch it, but help a brother out! Not all of us have even heard of this before, much less know that we want to dedicate an entire Friday afternoon to just finding out what the heck it is. But now maybe I do, now that I know what it is. Actua... |

Gene,
I'm intrigued by the TAGG Interface, and I get basically that it hooks onto your Stick and then attaches to...what do you attach it to? Is there another kind of stand that you use to put the TAGG and the Stick on to play upright? |

I'd like to see a sinewy 8-fingered bass line on top of empty keyboard space somewhere just below middle C. That way, you'd be using the upper half of your keys and the lower half of The Stick, a compatible marriage. That's a comment I know less what to do with. That sounds like a different song al... |

Biggest Billy Joel fan in the world (me) says let's hear it from both of you! Just the Way You Are on the Fender Rhodes electric piano is one of my very favorite songs in the world for wooing the ladies--at least my current lady! 16 years of marriage later, it must have worked. :D Side note....Sorry... |

Gene, there's a long history of people playing keyboards with their feet, going back to church organs with pedals. I Googled "foot MIDI controllers" and got lots of great products, some recommended here by various Stickists. http://www.sweetwater.com/c513--MIDI_Controllers?params=eyJmYWNld... |

Ok, so now I have GAS for the linnstrument too :( I have made several attempts approaching traditional keyboard layout (piano/synths), but still come back to the guitar/stick neck. The linnstrument seems to be the way for me to drive synths with a familiar neck-like layout. You should totally get o... |
