Yeah, that battery is on when it's plugged in and not when it's not. I leave my Railboard plugged in a lot on its Tagg stand but not the NS or my Rosewood 10-string, both which have active pickups and a battery.

Took me a bit to get where you were going, but I started digging it when I did. My favorite section was from around 2:30 to 3:30 or so, with the more bluesy jazzy contemplative jam thing going on. Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
