| The possibility of processing strings separately or at least in smaller groups is definitely a cool idea - years ago I did consider getting two GK pickups installed on my Grand Stick just so I could do that on something like a Roland VG-99. I didn't think to take a picture when I opened up my Stickup, but there was a thread here with a look at the inside, you could compare your wiring to see if it's been modified - perhaps someone tried to make it mono?
