I briefly checked out both amps mentioned in this thread on line. For you who love the Coda and Briefcase ... do you use them mainly as solo Stick amps? Seems to me they wouldn't have enough push or "paper' to amplify a Stick doing bass and melody duty on a live rock band. I have no doubt that ... |

Just so you NS Stick players know, Don has replied to several questions in regard to the half fretless NS Stick and a few about his disk Peering Over Clouds on the Stickwire forum. If you're interested in reading his replys to my 100000 questions you can read them there. |

Is this going to be a new "standard" offering? Geesh ... NOW I need to order a 2nd NS Stick! ;-) Hi Ray, Yes, I spoke with Emmett about it and he says the half fretless option is available at no extra charge. God help my credit card!!! ;) Well ... if I take to the NS Stick as I suspect I ... |

If the string seem high you may want to call Stick Enterprises. If it's an older Stick it probably doesn't have a trussrod and you very well may need one. I know from others reports that when Emmett reconditions an old Stick and adds a trussrod it comes back better then new. The only painful part be... |

Update...since '83 I've wanted to get that "T.L." sound on my stick. But, in just the few hours I've spent w/ the X3, I now realize I have what I need to get MY sound. Beautiful, warm, pristine, amp modelings in this baby. I'm talking about ALL the amps. I'm glad I waited (I'd like a rackmo... |

And if you buy now we'll throw in the secret of life and a set of Ginsue knives!  Yeah ... that's laying it on a little thick! I never realized an instrument could be the "LADDER OF ASCENTION TO HIM THAT DARE SEEK AND THIRST AFTER THE JOYS OF THE MELODIES OF THE HEAVENLY REALMS.&... |

Thanks for pointing the video out Greg! Looked like a fun piece to work on. I'd love to see more NS videos and technique information available. After I get an NS I hope "someday" to have discovered enough about the instrument to be able contribute some worth while information myself! |
