Looking great! The subtitle on the black and chrome tuner picture lists the light bamboo as paduak.

Thanks for the heads up, Dan.
Any corrections are always welcome...

I just noticed something. Third down on the left should actually be marked ten string grand. ;)

This gallery is fantastic but I can't help but notice that it lacks a graphite stick. Any chance that one could be added ?

...and there is no blue dyed light bamboo Stick. I imagine that would be cool, night sky blue with sparse stars in chrome.

I couldn't go for the dyed stuff myself, but that dark bamboo would totally be my thing if I ever ordered a new stick. Luvverly.

Just added at the bottom of the page

A tarara 10-string with purple linear inlays and black and chrome tuners,

Nine pics from different angles. I love the grain in this wood.

Those purple inlays really look odd in a beautiful way!

I want to say a huge thankyou to everyone involved with creating this new gallery. I'm considering options for ordering my first Stick and this page has been really, really useful! The instruments are absolutely beautiful and the photos on this new page really do them justice.

I have to agree with the above - I have a Yamaha TRB II bass in translucent blue woodstain (darkish blue) and it is really nice. I think this would be an effective finish for the bamboo if it's not already available... is it?? I would certainly be interested! ;)

Hi David,

Glenn wrote the code, Emmett took the pics, I'm putting it all together, but the people who deserve most of the credit are Grace and the rest of the people in the shop, who do such a great job making these instruments, and to Emmett who designed them, and spent so much time coming up with the right materials and processes for using them. They really are beautifully made, and the finish is quite care-free.

I'm slowly propagating these new shots throughout the website. So soon, every page will have pics that better represent what the instruments really look like. There are lots of pages on the site, though, so it will take a little time.

For example, this page shows the four different tuners on a variety of structural materials:

Tuners: http://www.stick.com/instruments/tuners/

More to come...
