Re: New artist feature on Bob Culbertson
Bob, as usual, does not disappoint. He has always impressed me with his light as a feather touch. I think that's a big part of his great tone. Of course it leaves him with a wide range of options in hitting harder to both change tone and give expression to certain lines/passages. Love dat guy!!
To quote Mr Zappa "Don't you ever wash that thing?" Hey! Maybe that's where that great tone comes from.......... Grunge on the fretboard.... Just thinkin' out loud here..
Along with all the great teaching material from Emmett and Greg, Bob's tapes (I had them transferred to DVD's) were a big part of my learning experience. Looks like Bob's new lessons are another step up. (It is easy to hear that great tone shining forth on the lessons.) Congrats!

P.S. - Suggestion - move this post to another board so more of us will run into it?
