I hazarded purchasing the full version and it was worth any penny. Create *any* custom tuning (it will handle 12 or even more strings). You do have to purchase the full version for custom tunings, but it's worth it!

The chord-finder engine takes a little configuring but is extremely powerful and useful.

It's been of great help working through our band leader's charts--he's a keyboardist who likes all permutations of those "crunchy" 9th and 13th chords.

I've only used one called "guitar/bass scale table", a freebie that includes Stick tunings. Very simple, but useful nonetheless; but I'll take a look at the one you mention, thanks for the tip.

I whipped out the $3.99 for this app for my Kindle Fire. So far I'm pretty impressed. I'm going to need to take some time to figure out the nuances. Anything that can accommodate 12 strings is a start
