Hey, found this neat search engine, Chordie,

that readily gave pretty accurate chords and lyrics. Sometimes if you are backing someone up, or have a fairly easy melody line, all you need is just the chord structure. Plus if you register, it allows you to create your own "songbook" - sort of bookmarks to your favorite tunes.

Since Gene did a great job with Mercy Street, here's a Peter Gabriel Search ( plus our connection with Tone Eleven- tip of the hat Steve!)
http://www.comwww.chordie.com/song.php/songartist/Peter+Gabriel/index.html

This way you don't have to pay $5.95 USD to
http://www.musicnotes.com/free/#fmp * or
http://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/InitialiseCountry.aspx?url=%2fdefault.aspx or
http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/

All of which are good sites and have saved my bacon numerous times. Sometimes as a sideman, the band leader will just give you a list and expect you to have them allunder your belt by the gig, esp if the band is a standing band with a tired old setlist that they are too lazy or lack the vision to change. :D

By the way the * above, will give you the link to Musicnotes FREE STUFF and FREE manuscript paper so you can capture the next song that will turn the world on it's head!
Brett, I believe, may have already had a post on this, so kudos to Brett, and it never hurts to know where to find this stuff.

hope you have fun with this, and hope it helps,
Dave Brosky

Very nice! Most popular music sites that I've seen display everything in guitar tabs, which is a bit of a pain if you're like me and don't play guitar LoL. This site is much more (beginner) Stick friendly.

Thanks for sharing!
