I hate to add this, but if you are one of those stickists that chronically say "Maybe I'll go to the Vancouver seminar?" and then turns around and says well "Maybe next year", you really should come. Jim works really hard to put on a great event and the teachers are always fantastic. While I'm quite certain the Vancouver group will continue in some way no matter what, the fact is the event has undergone a few changes over the last 7 years that I have attended. Especially since FHA started. This event needs and deserves your support. With the Canadian dollar in the toilet, there is one less excuse for our American and international friends. Please join us! Jim is great! Don is beyond great! I hope I didn't step on anyone's toes by writing this.

Re: Vancouver Stick Seminar May 26-29 I've organized events ... well ... almost as long as Jim but not quite. In addition, I've attended events in Western Canada twice. Bottom line is ... Jim does good work! The events are always fantastic. The setting is always surreal and the events are well thought out, well prepared, and always have the best teachers. Jim has his core group of regulars as well (just like I do  ) and they are all great folks. Highly recommend.

Re: Vancouver Stick Seminar May 26-29 I had the opportunity to meet Jim Meyer in the last stick camp in Europe
He has been a truly supportive and enthusiastic teacher with the newbie i am.I really had a good time playing along with him in a one day band. What a great player!
I'm sure this will be awesome.
Unfortunately i'm out of funds for such an event almost half a world away, too bad (free) teleport doesn't exist...
