My wife and I went to see the Rheostatics last night in YYZ at Massey Hall. What a great show and awesome venue to see live rock. These guys are in my top 5 bands. Show packed with great tunes and great humour.....the Rheos are Canadian muso icons.

Furthermore, JzzBovn (Rob Gellner) and I are going to see Stickmen tomorrow night in Kitchener. Gonna be a rock filled weekend....plus jamming with a band I recently joined on Sunday as well....bring on the Skynard!

Will report about the Stickmen after the show...

Cheers,
Kev

The bass line for Gimme three Steps is really fun to play,,,,and very busy. I'm not a big fan either....but stoked to play in a band again....

Kev

Rock it out, Kev! I've done Skynard in bands before and it's fun.

But fair warning:

This must be done when that drunk guy in the back yells "Freebird!"

And then say, "No charge!"

Have fun!

Hey Kevin!! I do like Southern Rock.... check out the band "The Outlaws".... Lady in Waiting and High Tides and Green Grass... The bass lines are killer and the guitars are smokin!! And the vocals are great!

FREEBIRD!!!

Saw the Rheostatics open for The Hip. Must've been the Day For Night tour.

They played a Floyd cover. I don't remember which one, but I enjoyed it.

Kevin the concert last night was amazing. Fellow stickist go see Stick men if you can. Super tight and amazing music. Tony even signed a stereo loop switcher I made especially for the stick.some day I'll show a video on its use. Thanks for coming to the show Kevin. Always awesome hanging out with you.

Ran into a guy from Barrie who used to own a stick but he went over to the dark side and bought a warr guitar. Boo lol

Great show last night! Band was super tight, nice and loud. Tonys bass side attack was really in your face, and the lock in with Pat was really punchy through the PA.

I was out for a smoke just prior to the show and up walks the band. I was wearing the new Stick t-shirt, so Tony noticed that and was nice enough to do a "stop and chat" for 5 minutes with me. Talked about the previous show the night before in YYZ, some Stick subjects, the Free Hands Academy where I first met him in Bel Air.....it was neat to steal some of his time.

Here's a few pics, sorry no live shots....I don't like filming when I should be enjoying the moment. Rob and I getting ready to rumble and Tonys pedalboard.

Just got tickets to see Stickmen at the Canyon Club, Agoura Hills, California! It's. Long way off in January of 2017, and I don't know yet who/if there is an opening band. Just think, we will have a new president sworn in just before that. So much happening between now and Jan. 22. It's not too far from Stick Enterprises, I wonder if anyone from SE will be there?
