Post Introduction to Music Theory
Hi everyone,

For those of you who might be longing to get a better understanding of music theory and what all of the jargon means, my friend Janice Derian and her partner Nancy Whitecar are putting on a three day course called "Introduction to Music Theory for the Piano" this August at Interlochen.

Many of you who attended last summer's Stick workshop might remember Janice and her husband Dan from the Friday night get together out our home. She is a top notch pianist, has been teaching privately for over 30 years, and is on the staff at Schoolcraft College in the Detroit area teaching piano and music theory.

If you're interested, you can find out more about the workshop at:

If you have any questions, you can email her at janice at derian-toth dot us. Make sure and let her know you found out about the course here.
