You'll love it. The Minneapolis show was fantastic. I keep forgetting earplugs though. Next time. What?

Re: Stickmen 5/14 in Columbus OH
Bad news for Stick Men. Imagine your effects pedals getting stolen while on tour. "Stick Men's Tony Levin and Markus Reuter just got all of their pedals stolen while driving from St Louis to Louisville. Though it's a huge financial and creative loss, they are still performing their hearts out every night till the end of the tour. A few fans got together to get this fundraiser started to pull some money so they can get at least the pedals and boards back." https://www.crowdrise.com/stick-men-ped ... #the-story

FYI. Tony declined the fundraising. So the fundraiser is for Markus Reuter's pedals.

Gawd I frickin hate thieves......that sucks for those guys, having to replace that gear in the middle of a tour.....or replace it all anytime it's been stolen ......

Not much worse than that icky, violated feeling.
They had to make-do with whatever they could put together on short notice. On the upside, the fundraising came through for Reuter.

Re: Stickmen 5/14 in Columbus OH
A feast. They were just beautifully integrated. No matter where I turned my attention, there was something great going on, not least the wonderful interplay between Pat and Tony. I took great delight in watching Tony--mere mortals shouldn't do that stuff, even if they're endowed with Tony's MONSTER MITTS.
Tony's approach is so different from what Greg's been patiently laying out for me--utterly his own and fully exploiting every speck of the board. A beautiful Lark's Tongue pt 2, and fun with Soup. New songs (to me) were Crack in the Sky, and Time's Insane Ashes. A totally ridiculous Level Five near the end of the show was worth the price of admission by itself. Absolutely fantastic.

Yes! Their rendition of Level Five just about knocked me over.
