The Bling thing just gets bigger. More reasons to own a railboard.

Re: Railboard inlays: Glitter and Glow...
Not sure why the railboard inlays do not reach all the way to the edge of the fretboard as they do on wooden models, but I don't care for them so much... which is a drag considering the railboard is superior to the traditional stick models. Why should they not LOOK as bitchen as the wooden models?
My Little Pony, heh. +1.
The Railboard is the shit, It needs to be rocked out the same way the standard models can be.

K I think I may have brought this up in a previous post Kev, the answer was....the integrity of the board may have been compromised. By this answer I'm assuming that due to the thinness of the rail, the cuts across the board would introduce too much arch.....its an old post though and I can't remember the details.....please forgive. I too would like to see the linears span completely across.....its something I want to see when Emmett produces the 12 string. Maybe Greg, or Emmett could post the deets (gawd, I just said deets,....i hate myself)... on the drawbacks of full across machining. cheers, k-rok

I am embarrassed to say I hadn't thought of potential structural aspects. I took it for granted that the railboard was built like the prow of a battleship and didn't think there may actually be a reason Emmett designed the inlays differently. Thanks for the post, Kev. K
