The closest thing to a New Year's Resolution for me is more gigging.

To that end I'll be performing for the Charlottesville Jazz Society on Tuesday, Jan 20 (unless you're heading to one of the inaugural balls, then see ya next time...) at Bashir's on the Downtown Mall in C-Ville.

Doors open at 6:30 cover is $5. Great food, music starts around 7:15.


I'm not a real jazz musician, I just play one on YouTube...

I just wanted to note that recent Charlottesville transplant Adam Larabee will be sitting in on guitar for a few tunes in the second set, and my longtime collaborator on percussion Darrell Rose will play berimbau and talking drum in the first set.
