For those in the Mid-Atlantic region looking for a break from Thanksgiving festivities, comes on out to the Music Cafe in Damascus, MD for Stick Night featuring Greg Howard, Jeremy Cubert and Empty Ecstasy (and Acoustic Guitar/Vocal Duet). Stick Night was a great success! Greg played a blistering set including a trio of his blues pieces (Blues for Ayman, Blues for Boo, and Blues for the Status Quo). The crowd was blown away. I had several people mention how much they enjoyed Greg's new piece "Finding Home." As always, watching and hearing Greg play is an amazing musical experience - both as a listener and a student. Several of my friends who have heard me talk about Greg for years finally had a chance to hear him in person. Empty Ecstasy (an acoustic duo) played a great set of classic rock music including an impromptu collaboration with Greg on "Time After Time." I played a set of mostly originals to round out the evening and had the honor of playing with Greg on "Come Together." I am looking forward to the next one! Jeremy |

Sounds like a cool gig. I had to GoogleMap it just 'cause I lived in Balto. way back. Don't all roads lead to Damascus? |
