Hey all,

I am in Ann Arbor until early-June for a research project at the Uni. of Michigan. I am really excited to meet fellow stick players here and the rest of Michigan. I am thinking getting a cup of coffee some afternoon (or beer if evenings work better). Who'd be up for it?.. and more important - since I am new and very poor with predicting transportation options - would other Michigan stickists (Glenn?) be able to join us?

I mentioned this to Steve Osburn, I take lessons from him in Ann Arbor (aka A2) on Packard just south of Washtenaw. Next lesson on Thursday in a couple weeks at 8PM, stop on by. I live in Canton, 20 minutes east of Ann Arbor. I can PM you beforehand, as lately Steve has had to reschedule often. How do you get around? Do you have a car, or using the bus?

Sometimes an occaisional Stickist or one of Steve's musician friends stop by to socialize while we play, sometimes just people walking by are curious to know what those strange-looking instruments we play are, and stop in to listen.

I up for any other gathering too. I go back to work on Monday, so the free time I've been taking advantage of on layoff is over.

Yeah I'm in on this. Things are getting a little dicy for us in the coming weeks though. This Thursday and the weekend looks pretty good all the way around. Probably next week too. After that I'm away for a couple of weeks.

Thursday night would work for me too, Saturday I'll be in Lake Orion from morning through afternoon. Saturday evening through Sunday OK.

I'm a half hour away and I'll be working early the next morning so I'm likely good for a bite to eat and a beer and that's about it. So do you guys want to meet at Oz's then? What time? Or a more appropriate question ... what time does Oz wrapup for the night?

I left Oz a message, our next lesson is Thursday of next week, so I don't know his schedule this Thursday. I'm off work at 5PM in Taylor, about 45 minutes from A2.

Ok. I just talked to Oz. He wraps up at 7:30PM on Thursday so let's meet at the store around 7:15 or so. Sound good?
