Cool night at the Iridium in NYC. Had the pleasure of doing two solo opening sets for Stick Men. They were great. Hard hitting and sonically big and deep.
Contrastingly I played a bunch of melodic originals as well my versions of Metheny, Beatles and Jeff Beck.
The audience dug the diversity of our styles. The Stick was king for the night at this famous room.

Hey Steve,
Loved your set last night. I'd have loved to stay for the second show.
Opening for Stick Men reminds me of the opening acts in the 70s for some of the great Progressive artists. Opening acts were not generally liked as we wanted to see our 8-) heroes 8-) and had little patience for Golden Earring or whomever...

But I digress. You've done great and you had a terrific range of sounds and effects.

And in case anyone doesn't already know this about you, I can tell anyone here, you're also a good guy and cool to talk to. I only wish you'd be a bit more opinionated...
