We receive fund if we ask, but AFSTG didn't do it since several years because our activities are no more high like ten years ago when we had the "International Tap Guitar festival" or "Folies Tapping".

With Youenn we're living in Nantes (near 500 kms West of Paris) but I'll see what can I do, asking Parisian Stickists I know (like Florent L'Hériteau who busk sometimes in Subway)

Excellent! Looking forward! :-)

I visit this forum (http://www.afstg.com/fora/) on a regular basis and there is a thread (english spoken) where you can leave a message in english. These guys speak english. Or you can announce your shows on this forum too.

Good luck

Merci, Alain! I'll log in there asap. I'm learning French now with the Duolingo app and a book I bought. Hopefully I will be able to speak "good enough" in February :-)

French stick players are now quite rare on Paris, we are now disseminated all over the country...

I don't know if you'll have time (and money) to do this but, on my side, I would go to Nantes (Yannick wrote it's about 500 kms west of Paris) to play with these guys. Nantes is so nice and I'm sure it's more peaceful than Paris. Ok, it's a bit far but very good stickists live there too. It's part of my bucket list to go there one day. Have a nice trip anyways.
