I really like the walking bas and the big round tone but moreso the dynamics as you drop it back down around the 2:55 min mark as an example.

Since it is a contest, I am honor bound to listen to the other entries before voting, so I've got some listening fodder for earlier evening, but someone is going to have to bring the heavy-duty chops to knock you off the hill

That being said, I pref to think of contests like this as a game...and (I wish I could credit the source) I once heard a boardgame designer describe games as systems to encourage interesting behavior

While not strictly averse to a contest, I try to treat it as a motivation to appreciate all the entries with the results just as a way to force a decision point and really engage the audience.
It's sort of like fencing, it's really hard to slack at fencing even after an exhausting day because someone is trying to poke you - so there's an inbuilt motivational factor.

but,as far as my limited experience with stickists go...that's not a problem...the above is just for MY OWN clarity

Music isn’t a competition to me. The guy who runs heard a gig of mine and really appreciated my music. He asked if he could include me, I agreed. I then said I would do no promotion to which he said “it will be great exposure for the stick” ......... so I hit Facebook and the stick community. Please vote your conscience. If I’m in the top 4 I get to play a tube at Bushnell park Hartford. That’s my hope.
