Well, after quite a few open mics playing Stick I now seem to have landed a bit of a gig supporting a vocalist! And a Stick gig, not one of those tired old "guitar playing" gigs. I may not have sucked as bad as I thought at those previous gatherings.... Here's the deal, the gig is on December the 28th, we're opening for 54-40. It's going to be me on Stick, and her on vocals, so it should be fun. Now, she is still selecting songs and has only given me 4 of 'em to work out as of today. Luckily, we get a practice on Saturday and Sunday, then next Wednesday. hahaha Time to learn some tunes in accompaniment mode! My job? Make her sound awesome. Gonna be fun, thought I'd share the news!
