Rhythmic Independence Lesson now uploaded.
Hi everyone,
I just uploaded the last lesson from the Basic Free Hands DVD, this one on Rhythmic Independence.
I must apologize for a little dodginess in the audio near the end. Not sure what happened, but I can't find the original file at the moment. It's just a little distracting... I'm really happy to have this whole 2 hour Video lesson online with HD graphics and easy navigation.
As always, any feedback you may have is most welcome, and I suggest you look at lessons 1-5 before watching this one... You can find all of them on this YouTube Playlist
The video also deals with why you want to be able to play any key in adjacent positions, not just assigning a certain location to a key just because it fits a certain fingering orientation.
Good stuff Greg. I’ve been going through these vids you’ve posted here of late. Always something to learn. In particular the forward motion I see when you strike a melody note, something (among many things) I need to focus on.
So glad you’ve posted these here.....I bet newbies are as well.
