Post Jack & JackTrip (and JamKazam) for internet music jamming
Any one have any experience with Jack & JackTrip?

https://jackaudio.org
https://JackTrip.org

"Today’s vast amount of streaming and video conferencing on the Internet lacks one aspect of musical fun: high-quality, near-synchronous musical collaboration. Under the right conditions, the Internet can be used for ultra-low-latency, uncompressed sound transmission. JackTrip supports bidirectional, high quality, uncompressed audio streaming with any number of channels, enabling real-time musical collaboration over the internet."

Look at soundjack also . If you have Mac, it looks easier to use than jack trip . I installed it today and it can see other users etc.. but I haven’t actually given it an actual run yet. Use the dev.soundjack.eu site as that is the more up to date one instead of plain soundjack.eu . Linux supposedly is supported reasonably well also . Windows is there also but may take a bit more to get running from the little I’ve read

I have been working with JamKazam and been pleased with the latency I get. You do have to make some changes to your router, but it's nothing that impacts your home router config.

I just got JamKazam working. You can join open sessions, or create public or private ones. The way you connect (friends) in JamKazam seems to be inviting by email. Anyone who wants to try this out PM me for my email.
