Post New album out today: CGT opening for King Crimson!
Hi all,

Happy to pass also that we have a new live album out today from our last California Guitar Trio show opening for King Crimson. Available as a "pay what you like" digital release exclusively on Bandcamp, this live EP includes both audio and videos of the entire opening set: https://californiaguitartrio.bandcamp.c ... crimson-ep

The tour supporting Crimson was truly something special. Fourteen shows in less than three weeks stretching from FL through GA, TN, TX, CO, UT, CA and finally AZ. We played in some truly historic venues like the Ryman in Nashville, Fox Theatre Atlanta and the Greek Theatre in LA as well as a sports arena in Austin and several great amphitheaters.

This release was recorded by Chris Porter, King Crimson's Front of House sound engineer and the videos were made by Anthony Garone of Make Weird Music.

I'm glad we can share this with all of you and hope you enjoy the recording as much as we enjoyed the tour!

Best,
Tom Griesgraber

I'll endorse the live set. We saw CGT at the Talking
Stick (coincidence?) casino here in AZ. Great 40 minute set. Tom's Stick playing added a lot of new texture to the overall orchestration and flavor. During the set, some audience member screamed out "more Stick". Tom asked if it was me. I don't scream. Did this make the recording?
Congrats to Tom and the trio. Great gig and performance

Steve

+1 for Scottsdale performance. I actually enjoyed your performance better than King C.

Thanks Steve! Means a lot from you!

And yes... the "more Stick" yell from the audience member is in there... right at the end of the first song/track Andromeda. Had to leave that in, but I still have no idea who it was.

Cheers,
T
