I am sure some of you had the same experience of keep playing your part, both hands, and still trying to ask the drummer to play something else, and so you wave your head around to get their attention. doesn't look much effective but works sometime

sort of an Episode 0 for KONSTRUCTION DIARIES. after this I thought this trio could work out great. Also, it is 1 camera, so for those you like no edits, might be a good one to check out.

Great seeing you and Chuck +1. Emmett loved playing with a bombastic drummer and a keyless horn player (pretty sure he liked soprano most) that would challenge him across scales, time signatures and genres - looks like you have both in no small measure!

You know what, one of the first things Emmett and I talked about was exactly that! I also toured with a horn player Emmett used to play with back in the day, so that was a cool connection as well. Vinny (the horn player) had cool stories of playing with Emmett as well which he shared with me years before I ever got to meet him♪

Similarly, I had played a few gigs with NY drummer Napolean Revels Bey who I formed me he played with Emmett in the very early Stick days , (mid 70's)
