JAPAN TAP CAMP 2023
Mostly spoken in Japanese and I put subtitles in case some of you check it out. Oh and Japanese supermarkets are amazing, 03:24 ~ ahaha also a sample lesson is included! Thanks for your support! Looking forward to 2024, either in May or Sep, might be a good chance to travel to Japan, meet some local Stickists, and see rural Japan! will post the other episodes here, too, total of 3.

Re: JAPAN TAP CAMP 2023
This vid gave me one of those "Ah-ha" moments. When letting a guitar player try my Stick for the first time (as our common friend Rob just did two weeks ago in front of a live audience ) I had always assumed their difficulty had to do with using the right hand in an unfamiliar role on a 36" scale neck. But as shown in this vid, they should be told to tap notes and NOT do hammer-ons and pulloffs, like they will see me also do, and are of course going to be familiar with doing with the opposite hand on a guitar.

That is so cool that this video gave you some Ah-ha moments! never know when or where those can come from~ Oooo, never really thought of using this approach to explain or have someone new to the instrument try it that way, but I think I must do that! Thanks for the idea♪

Thanks for all 3 Kai. kaikurosawa wrote: 00:10:57 Final thoughts/discussion, solo piece breakdowns I especially like Ryuto's comments in this 'final thoughts' bit about how he developed his style: Quote: I didn't know crossed from uncrossed so I just kinda f'd around. I thought I like how this sounded. I just combined sounds that I thought sounded good together. and that's how I started buildin up that music I performed. and Quote: I thought it was super cool how each string has its own character and nuance that was like waves, like water.
