Thanks everyone for your encouraging remarks. It was my hope for this band that I'd simply be another member who happened to play Stick. Not a feature. I think that this concept is working musically, but whenever we gig, I still get people shouting out between songs: "what is that thing?" I don't like to call attention to myself, but always end up taking a couple of minutes to go over the condensed history of the Chapman Stick to the audience. Maybe if we can make this thing a little more mainstream, we can spend more time playing and less time educating during a show. But for now, we're still an oddity.
