I'll be Massachusetts for a wedding (June 25) and thought I'd try to set up a small gig or two if the opportunity is there- say north of the city in the Lowell/Newburyport/Portsmouth/Danvers area... anyone have suggestions for suitable low key venues or maybe want to go in on a gig together?

I have a bunch of family in the area and some friends from years past (whom I'm connected with on Facebook) so there is a good chance I could round up several of those folks to come out. Let me know!

It isn't north, actually it is south...but not that far south of Boston...a little place in my town of Hingham called "Stars on Hingham Harbor" is verrrrry low key. I'm not sure it is what you might be after, but it sure would be a blast for me, anyway.

I wish I could be there Rob. As I mentioned on facebook I'm booked to fill in as a bass player with a local band that eveing at the Salisbury beach (figures, it's all in the tinming) but hopefully a few local stick players will see this announcement and come meet and support you.
