I received the Basic Free Hands DVD back in January. I have had lessons with Greg on multiple occasions in the last 7 years, and my complaint has always been that Greg imparts so much information in such a short time, that I can't possibly remember it all. Each time I have met with Greg, much of the lesson has been reviewing material that he had previously taught me that I forgot. That should never be a problem again unless I lose this DVD, because the first two chapters covers the material that I keep forgetting. That leaves the majority of the DVD for new explorations. The DVD has not left the laptop player since I received it. I have Emmet's book, both of Greg's books, Steve's book and DVD, the Sticktionary (Chris Crain), and the first tape in Bob's series, and Basic Free Hands has earned it's place amongst these other incredible resources. One of the goals was definitely to have a reference for students to go back to and refresh on the concepts I'd been teaching in lessons. So I'm glad you had that experience. I find it's also been really helpful for student coming into skype to have seen the DVD ahead of time, so that they are introduced to the concepts before we get together the first time.

I received a nice comment from Dean Pascarella a couple of days ago, which he agreed I could pass on to people interested in the DVD: "Hi Greg. Just got your Free Hands DVD in the mail yesterday and I already can"t believe the change in my tone.I have been playing Stick since 1999 as a second instrument to guitar. I always approached the Stick with more of a guitar technique.I have only got to the basic hand movement section but it's changed everything for me. Really great instructional. Thanks very much The Stick was played through a Scarlett Focusrite 8i6 without any effects. I added the effects afterwards. The bass side is just the standard Garageband chorus and punchy bass compression
